# The tools we use

> The platforms your work lives in, which ones you will ever log into, and what stays yours.

A partnership runs on a small number of platforms, and we would rather use a few of them rigorously than add a new one every time a need appears. Most partners only ever log into three or four. The rest run quietly underneath.

One line answers most of the questions people have about this. Anything that represents you in the world stays yours. Anything that is production machinery is usually ours.

Your domain, analytics, Search Console, YouTube channel and social handles are your identity. They usually exist before we arrive and we are simply added as users. The tools we record, edit, publish and schedule in are different: most partners do not hold licenses for those, so we carry them and you use them at no additional cost for as long as we are working together. Where you already own something on our side of that line, we work inside what you have rather than migrating you.

| [Loops](https://loops.so) or [Mailchimp](https://mailchimp.com) | Newsletters and sequences, sent on your behalf | Rarely |
| Google Analytics, Search Console, YouTube | Measurement and your channel | Yours already |

Everything else we run—project tracking, our CRM, the automation plumbing—sits behind the curtain and never asks anything of you.

## Who pays for what

We do, for the production tooling, for as long as you are a partner. Those subscriptions sit on Snapmarket’s accounts and are covered by your fee rather than billed on top of it.

That is worth explaining, because it is not how every agency does it. Carrying the stack ourselves means we keep it consistent across partners, replace something without asking you to approve a purchase order, and start work on day one rather than after a procurement conversation.

Your own properties are yours throughout and always were. We are added as administrators so we can instrument, measure and publish, and that is the whole of our claim on them. Where a partner already holds a license on our side of the line, it stays theirs and we work inside it. What we will not do is buy something in your name without telling you first.

## If the partnership ends

The handover splits along the same line.

For anything already yours, there is nothing to move. You remove our access and that part is finished. The history stays, the audience stays, the settings stay.

For the tooling we carried, our subscriptions end when the partnership does. If you want to keep working in those platforms you set up your own accounts, and we tell you which ones you actually need—with links, current pricing, and an honest note about which you can probably drop—well before your last month rather than after it. Then we port everything across as completely as each platform allows. Some transfers are clean and some are partial, and we say which is which up front.
