§ 3.3.1 · A3 / A4 · typically two weeks per piece
What this is
Anything physical or printable. One-pagers, leave-behinds, brochures, business cards, signage, trade show material, and PDFs your sales team sends after a meeting.
Designed to your brand system, which means this piece is far cheaper and better when § 1.3 has been done. Collateral produced without a visual identity to inherit from ends up as a set of documents that each invented their own rules.
Of everything in this section, the one-pager is the piece that most often changes an outcome, and it is the piece most companies have not touched in years.
It is what a champion inside a prospect’s organization forwards to the person who actually decides. That person was not in your meeting, will not read your website, and will form their impression from one page. If that page is a feature list in an old template, your champion is arguing your case with a bad instrument.
A good one is short, says the one thing, and is written for the reader who did not meet you.
Sets are not linear
Worth knowing before you ask for a quote. The first piece in a set carries the cost of the thinking—the layout system, the grid, the treatment of your brand in a printed context. Every subsequent piece inherits that and runs considerably lighter.
So commissioning six pieces at once is meaningfully cheaper than commissioning six pieces across a year, and if you know a set is coming it is worth telling us now.
What we need from you
The content, and clarity about the reader. A one-pager for a technical evaluator and one for a chief executive are different documents even when they describe the same thing.
For anything printed, the quantity, the deadline, and where it needs to physically be. Print has real lead times and shipping is not instant, and the deadline is almost always the constraint that shapes the decisions.
What sits outside the fee
Print production, shipping, any specialty finishing, and stock imagery, billed at cost.
