What this is

A complete website project: information architecture, wireframing, design, build, content population, quality assurance, responsive testing, and go-live coordination. It is scoped by template page rather than by total page count because that is what actually drives the work. A homepage is its own design problem. A services page and a second services page are one design problem and two sets of content. A resources index and a resources detail page are two templates even though they feel like one section. We will walk you through the template count before we scope.

What we need from you

A settled message. This is the real prerequisite. Website copy is downstream of the messaging document, and building a site while positioning is still moving means writing the same three pages four times. A named reviewer and a consolidation plan. Everyone can have input. One set of comments comes back to us per round. Content that only you have—team bios, headshots, client logos and the permission to use them, case study details, legal and compliance language. This is the single most common cause of a site sitting finished but unlaunched, and it is worth starting on in week one rather than week six. We can provide a base draft of a Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, which we will implement for a cookie consent banner, but your team—particularly your legal team—needs to review and sign off. Access to your domain registrar, which frequently takes longer to locate than anyone expects.

What you will have

A live site you own and can edit, built responsively and tested across devices, with analytics and conversion tracking wired in before launch rather than after. Search Console verified and the sitemap submitted, so indexing starts immediately. And a short handoff session with whoever on your team will be making small changes, because a site nobody but us can edit is a site that can go stale.

How long it takes

Six to eight weeks for a build of typical size, paced by review turnaround more than by production.

What this is not

Not a single page added to an existing site, and not a campaign page—both are updates and landing pages. If an update grows into restructured navigation or a new template system, it has become this piece and we will say so rather than absorb it.
