What this is

DNS configuration, SSL, hosting coordination, domain registration and renewal, email routing and deliverability records, and a written inventory of what exists and where. That last item is the one clients end up most grateful for. A surprising number of companies do not know which registrar holds their domain, who has admin access, or when it renews, and the moment that becomes urgent is always the worst possible moment.

The calendar warning

The effort here is small. The calendar is not, and it is not negotiable. A registrar transfer carries a mandatory five-day window that nobody can shorten. DNS propagation adds time on top of that. Email deliverability records need to settle before you can trust that sends are landing. So we never schedule a launch tightly against domain work, and we would ask you not to promise a date to anyone else that depends on it. When a launch slips for this reason it is almost always because the domain work started too late, not because it went wrong.

Email deliverability

If your domain’s authentication records are absent or misconfigured, a meaningful share of everything you send—newsletters, sequences, and sometimes ordinary sales email from your own team—lands in spam or never arrives. It is invisible from your side. You see sends going out and no bounce, and you conclude the audience is not interested.

What we need from you

Access to the registrar or domain hosting service (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.), which usually means finding out who set it up. If that person left the company three years ago, tell us early and we will work through the recovery process, which is itself slow.

What sits outside the fee
